$ETH: BitMine increased holdings by 8,573 coins, total holdings account for 4.9%, the foundation is pushing infrastructure, Citibank recommends ETF. But the spot ETF saw a net outflow of over $1.61 billion in October, the coin price dropped 16.1% monthly, compounded by the Binance hacker money laundering scandal, and facing competition from SOL (nearly 3800x faster) and BNB Chain, the pressure is considerable.

Mid-term outlook: SOL ecosystem is strong but short-term selling pressure is heavy, ETH is in a period of contention. Control positions, guard against volatility.
Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP All Trade Just Under Resistance, and None Has Broken Through Yet
Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP are attempting to recover from the sharp sell-off on October 29 and 30, but the rebound remains limited. All three cryptocurrencies are trading just below important resistance levels, with buyers struggling to push prices beyond the barriers that have been holding back the recovery.
Bitcoin is holding above its recent lows, Ethereum is trying to reclaim lost ground, and XRP is approaching the upper edge of its tightening range. The three assets are moving through a similar phase, where the decline has slowed but the recovery has yet to establish a clear direction.
The next move will depend on whether buyers can break through resistance and hold those gains, or whether sellers return to push prices toward the recent lows.
📊 Bitcoin Holds Support as Resistance Limits the Recovery
Bitcoin is trading near $77,075, with immediate support between $76,200 and $76,400. Buyers have defended this area several times since the sell-off, keeping the price from extending its decline.
The recent recovery, however, has struggled to gain momentum. Bitcoin approached $78,600 on November 2 before turning lower, leaving that level as the first important resistance. A sustained move above it would bring $79,300 into focus, followed by the larger supply area near $81,900.
The distinction between these levels matters. A move above $78,600 would improve Bitcoin's short-term structure, while a sustained break above $79,300 would provide stronger evidence that buyers are recovering some of the ground lost during the sell-off.
Bitcoin's position is also important for Ethereum and XRP, which are trading within similar post-sell-off ranges. A decisive Bitcoin move could influence the direction of the wider cryptocurrency market, although the other assets will still need to overcome their own resistance levels.
A break below $76,200 would weaken the current stabilisation and expose Bitcoin to another decline. A sustained move above $78,600, followed by a successful retest, would provide a stronger bullish signal.
🏦 Ethereum's Institutional Development Has Yet to Translate Into Price Strength
Ethereum is trading near $2,264, with support around $2,205 to $2,230. Its immediate resistance sits near $2,291, followed by the November 2 recovery high around $2,314.
A sustained move above $2,314 would improve the short-term structure and open the way toward the larger resistance near $2,389. Until then, Ethereum remains below the levels needed to establish a more convincing recovery.
The wider Ethereum ecosystem continues to develop. The Ethereum Foundation is expanding its work with governments and institutions, including public-sector infrastructure and a humanitarian aid coordination proof of concept.
These developments point to Ethereum's expanding role beyond its use as a cryptocurrency. However, the price remains under pressure, and institutional interest in Ethereum's technology has not automatically translated into stronger demand for ETH.
The demand picture is also affected by institutional investment flows. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust ETF, known as ETHA, reportedly recorded outflows totaling 580,145 ETH over the past month, according to data.
This creates a contrast between Ethereum's longer-term development and its current market demand. The immediate challenge is whether buyers can return strongly enough to reclaim the resistance levels lost during the sell-off.
A sustained move above $2,314, followed by a successful retest, would strengthen the recovery. A decline below $2,172 would indicate that the current base has failed and bring further downside into focus.
⚖️ XRP's Tightening Range Leaves the Next Move Unclear
XRP is trading near $1.257, making it the closest of the three cryptocurrencies to its immediate resistance around $1.264.
Its current range is concentrated between approximately $1.233 and $1.264. The narrowing price movement has brought XRP close to a point where a stronger move could develop.
The four-hour Bollinger Bands have narrowed to their tightest levels since August. The last similar compression was followed by a rally of approximately 71% in three days.
However, that historical move does not establish a price target or guarantee another rally. Volatility compression can precede a sharp move in either direction, depending on whether buyers or sellers gain control.
A four-hour close above $1.27 would provide the first bullish signal for XRP. A sustained move above $1.30 would strengthen the recovery case.
On the downside, a close below $1.23 would indicate increasing selling pressure and bring the October 30 low near $1.197 back into focus.
XRP's network activity has also increased. Data recorded 7,934 newly created wallets on November 1, its sixth-highest daily network growth reading of 2026.
The increase in wallet creation shows that network activity is expanding even while the price remains weak. However, wallet growth alone does not establish that new users are buying XRP or that the activity will translate into sustained demand.
For now, XRP remains caught between increasing network activity and a price structure that has yet to confirm a recovery.
🔀 Three Possible Outcomes for Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP
The first possibility is a recovery. Bitcoin breaks above $78,600, Ethereum moves above $2,314, and XRP closes above $1.264. If these breakouts hold on a retest, the market could begin testing higher resistance levels.
Bitcoin would then have room to move toward $79,300 and potentially $81,900. Ethereum could approach $2,389, while XRP would have $1.30 in focus.
The second possibility is another decline. Bitcoin loses $76,200, Ethereum falls below $2,172, and XRP breaks beneath its recent support near $1.23. These moves would show that the current stabilisation has failed and that sellers are regaining control.
The third possibility is continued consolidation. Prices remain within their current ranges, with neither buyers nor sellers establishing a clear advantage.
This would leave traders waiting for a decisive move while the three assets continue to trade below resistance.
🎯 Trading Setups and Their Invalidation Levels
The current structure offers opportunities in both directions, but each setup needs confirmation before the trade becomes convincing.
For Bitcoin, a sustained hourly close above $78,600 would provide the first bullish signal. A successful retest could open the way toward $79,300, followed by the larger resistance near $81,900. The setup would weaken if Bitcoin fell back below the retest low, while a return below $76,200 would invalidate the broader recovery idea.
For Ethereum, a sustained move above $2,314 followed by a successful retest would improve the short-term outlook. The next resistance would be near $2,389. A failure to hold the breakout would weaken the setup, while a decline below $2,172 would invalidate the recovery structure.
For XRP, a four-hour close above $1.27 would provide the first bullish confirmation. A sustained move above $1.30 would strengthen the case for recovery. A return below the breakout level would weaken the setup, while a decisive break below $1.23 would shift attention toward $1.197.
The bearish setups would require the opposite confirmation. A sustained break below the recent support levels, followed by a failed attempt to reclaim them, would provide stronger evidence that the sell-off is continuing.
In each case, a temporary move outside the range is not enough. The breakout or breakdown needs to hold before the market can establish a clearer direction.
🔍 The Next Move Depends on Whether Resistance Gives Way
Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP are all trading just under resistance, and none has broken through yet.
Bitcoin remains the main market reference, with $76,200 acting as immediate support and $78,600 limiting the recovery. Ethereum needs to defend its support area and reclaim $2,314, while XRP is approaching a narrow range boundary that could produce a stronger move.
The broader market has stabilised, but the price structure remains incomplete. Buyers have slowed the decline without yet establishing a sustained recovery.
A confirmed breakout would open the way for higher resistance levels. A breakdown below support would bring the recent lows back into focus, while continued consolidation would leave the market waiting for a clearer signal.
The strongest confirmation will come from whether prices can hold beyond their current ranges rather than immediately returning to where they started.
